MONTGOMERY, U.S. DISTRICT JUDGE - Description from Court's website: "United States Department of Education and numerous other lending institutions appealed a Bankruptcy Court Order which discharged Reynolds's student loans under the undue hardship standard of 11 U.S.C. § 523(a)(8). The Bankruptcy Order is affirmed because Reynolds's severe mental health problems preclude her from being able to repay the debt."
