Attorney General Mike Hatch filed suit today against
Associated Financial Services ("AFS") and its owner-president,
Patrick A. Kolling ("Kolling"), accusing them of abusing,
harassing and deceiving consumers in their attempts to collect
debts owed to businesses, particularly medical and dental
offices. The suit alleges that Associated Financial Services
and Patrick Kolling used abusive and harassing practices,
deceptive collection letters, and brought unlawful collection
lawsuits.
